Marlborough-based Moa Brewing Company are in the national news for the right reasons for once with the announcement that they're set to release their NZ Gold Ale to coincide with the 2016 Olympic games opening ceremony in Rio, Brazil. Moa Brewing Company are the official sponsors of the New Zealand Olympic Team, ensuring our athletes and fans alike can patriotically unwind with a beverage specially brewed within the borders of our island nation. Moa's NZ Gold Ale will showcase the Motueka Hop which, as Hop fans will be familiar, comes with a generous citrusy ‘Mojito’ flavour that should go down well while watching our athletes compete in the land of the Samba and Carnaval. Anyway, top marks to MBC for making the most of their sponsorship deal and making a Bev specifically for us armchair sportsmen. Moa’s NZ Gold Ale will initially only be available through Countdown Supermarkets at the very reasonable price of $6.99 a bottle. Hooray! Who doesn’t love drinking beer and watching televised sports!? Oh that’s right. Fucking ISIS. Fucking Cunts
We'll be reviewing Moa's NZ Gold Ale as soon as we can get our grubby mitts on a bottle. Stay tuned!
